Q: What does the Board of Regents decision on November 18th mean?
A: The Board of Regents of Washington State University gave approval to begin construction on the first part of the Cougar Football Project, which will include premium seating (club seats, loge boxes, luxury suites and a club room) and a new press box on the South side of Martin Stadium. The board voted to support the first portion of the project at its meeting held Friday, November 18, 2011 at WSU Spokane.

Q: How will the Cougar Football Project be funded?
A: The project will be privately funded through donations, premium seating revenue and increased revenue provided by the recently completed Pac-12 television contract. The contract goes into effect beginning with the 2012-13 academic year. When fully occupied, the club seats, loge boxes and luxury suites are expected to bring in more than $3 million annually in net revenues at current projected price levels. No state appropriated funds will be used to fund this project.

Q: What is the timeline for the Cougar Football Project, and when will I sit in my new premium seats?
A: Construction on the premium seating and press box will begin on Monday, November 21 and will run continuously through the winter, spring and summer. The press box and premium seating areas will be largely completed by the beginning of the 2012 season.

Q: How many seats will be in the new premium seating addition?
A: Approximately 1,900 new seats will be added to Martin Stadium in the premium seating area. The expansion will add 21 luxury suites (four, 24-person; nine, 18-person; and eight, 12-person), 42 loge boxes (27, four-person and 15, six-person) and approximately 1,300 club seats (1,200 outdoor and 100 indoor).

Q: What happens if I have already paid a deposit for a premium seat under the old renovation plan?
A: Your premium seat purchase will remain as you initially intended, including your spot in line for seating priority. All individuals who committed to premium seats on or before the December 18, 2009 deadline will be seated prior to any purchasers after that date.

Q: What it is the process for premium seating sales?
A: A deposit will be required to reserve club seats -- $300 per club seat, $1,000 per loge box and $5,000 for a luxury suite. There are two ways to reserve your seat: either fill out the online form on the CougarFootballProject.org website or download the brochure from the site and send it back to the CAF office.

Q: When will the full cost of my premium seat order come due?
A: The deposit that was placed to hold your seating order will be credited to your 2012 ticket purchase. The remaining balance on your order will be due by June 30, 2012.

Q: How will premium seats be allocated?
A: Premium seats will be allocated in four phases:

Phase 1 will include all individuals who committed to premium seats on or before the old renovation plan deadline of December 18, 2009.
Phase 2 will include all who commit with a deposit towards premium seats between that original deadline and February 15, 2012.
Phase 3 will include all who commit by the football season ticket renewal deadline of March 23, 2012.

All purchasers after that date (Phase 4) will be sat on a first-come, first-serve as available basis.

Within each phase, three criteria will be used for seating priority: 1) philanthropic gift to the Cougar Football Project; 2) length of commitment to their seat purchase (in the case of loge box and suites sales only); and 3) TPS rank.
